GrayMatter Software Services Oy, Finland has received Tekes funding for its R&D program for its globally acclaimed and preferred Airport Analytics (AA+) product. This Airport Analytics product is the first of its kind addressing the airport operator’s comprehensive BI, Analytics & data consolidation need across its complex maze of stakeholders. AA+ is a game-changer solution in BI for airport industry globally with some highly successful implementations already deployed.
GrayMatter approached Tekes for a three year R&D investment plan for over 10 million euro’s to take its AA+ product far ahead of anything ever seen in airport BI & analytics. AA+ will transfer the traditional financial business performance of airports into real-time operational performance and graduate to predicting airport performance to enhance passenger experience drastically. Predictive modeling optimizing non-aero/retail revenue, minimizing security risks and improving on-time performance, in addition to managing environmental and safety norms, are the key objectives of this funding. Tekes has approved close to 3 million euro first year investment plan of AA+.
GrayMatter’ R&D work has already commenced in Vantaa, Finland’s hub for aviation related ICT companies. Mr. Andy Kozak was appointed as Director of R&D Centre and will be heading GrayMatter’s Finnish research facility. He is an experienced ICT professional, who has nurtured large global relationships for over 12 years focusing primarily on BI and analytics area.
