What is Startup Space Helsinki

Startup Space Helsinki is a virtual workspace consisting of virtual table lounge area & stage area, operating in Airmeet platform.

Virtual table lounge area

Here you will find open virtual tables with different themes:

Open co-working: these tables are for open co-working, if you see people in these tables you are welcome to join them, or sit in your own table and wait for others to join you.
Idea sharing: sit here if you have ideas which need refining and discussing with other innovative people
Open for opportunities: are you a freelancer or looking to work in a startup? Let everyone know that you are open for new opportunities!
Developers: table purely reserved for developers to discuss their line of work & seek for peer support
Private: wish to have a private 1-on-1 video chat without anyone eavesdropping or interfering? This is the table for you when you have had enough of those DM’s

Speed networking

Activate speed networking to be matched into a quick private call with another user in the Startup Space. It never hurts to network and who knows where this 5 minute investment takes you?

Difficulties joining or other technical issues?

Unfortunately sometimes there are technical issues with Airmeet, which can usually be resolved locally with your browser or computer settings. Before contacting Airmeet or Startup Space admins check this quick troubleshooting list:

Video & audio chat require permission to use webcam and microphone. Without this permission the functionalities won’t work either.
Virtual Workspace is not supported in mobile, you can only attend Webinars & other Special Sessions via mobile
Airmeet supports all browsers, but works best with Chrome (build 79+)
VPN or firewall may prevent the platform from working correctly, check your settings
