The 1,300 companies in the Finnish Cleantech ecosystem generate total revenues of around Euros 4.5 billion per year (half in exports), growing at 15% per annum. Greater Helsinki region has 300 core Cleantech companies and 20 key research teams, supported by the governments annual investment of Euros 550 million in R&D and market stimulus incentives to support EU cleantech targets.
