Verdane Capital Advisors expanding its presence in the Finnish private equity market

Nordic financing services offerer Verdane Capital Advisors has opened an office in Helsinki to support its local operations. Verdane has completed three acquisitions in Finland between 2010-2011 including the acquisition of the Finnish private equity firm Eqvitec Technology Fund III with a portfolio of 12 ICT and industrial companies.

Verdane is the Nordic market’s largest independent manager of secondary direct funds and has a 25-year-experience of capital investments market. By locating an office in Helsinki Verdane is expanding its presence in Finland and looking closer into the potential of the Finnish growth companies and investment opportunities.

Verdane Funds now have 16 Finnish companies in their portfolio to which it can offer exit and development potential. Verdane is also a partner with several Finnish shareholders including the Finnish Industry Investment (TESI).
