Helsinki international airport has been ranked for many years as one of the best airports and connection hubs in the world. It has done especially well with upholding functionality under extreme weather conditions and expanding markets. These conditions have driven companies to develop innovative solutions and knowhow in all fields that come together in making airports functional.

Airport Cluster Finland, a project owned by Vantaa Innovation Institute, aims at creating new turnkey solutions for airports by combining the product and service provision of the member companies based on customer needs. Cluster activities will also strengthen the development of the airport city Aviapolis, which is the dynamic business environment around Helsinki Airport.

Vantaa Innovation Institute works together with Greater Helsinki Promotion in order to attract the kind of international companies that will make the cluster even stronger.
